The Childhood subcommittee is for everyone who cares about children and wants to create trauma-informed and resilience-focused change in our community.  Members raise awareness of the negative impact of adverse childhood experiences and the positive, healing impact of positive childhood experiences.  This subcommittee also advocates for trauma-informed and trauma-sensitive practices in all settings that support children and their families-- including child welfare, childcare and early childhood education, K-12 schools, and youth-serving organizations.

This subcommittee meets in person in February, May, August, and November. It meets virtually otherwise. There are no meetings in the months of July and December.
