The Childhood subcommittee is for everyone who cares about children and wants to provide a foundation for success. Members raise awareness of the negative impact of adverse childhood experiences and the positive, healing impact of positive childhood experiences. They also advocate for trauma-informed and trauma-sensitive practices in all settings that support children and their families-- including child welfare, childcare and early childhood education, K-12 schools, and youth-serving organizations.
