Adam Sotak, Public Engagement Director for NC Child, will provide a short “Advocacy 101” training focusing on basic tips for effective advocacy as we head into a busy time of policy making at both the state and federal levels. Topics will include: understanding the difference between lobbying and advocacy; having effective meetings with elected leaders; and how to engage a broader audience in advocacy efforts.
